This might be the best DFAC in the military. Fine dining and has me very very satisfied as an Army Officer. Today I had chicken cordon bleu, phenomenal! Yesterday I had crab topped fish, exquisite! Oh, Have some cake!
Routinely get lunch while I'm on base for work. It's fast and easy to pick up. They are consistent with other Jimmy John's I eat at. Moose Out

Better of the two dfac on Ft Sam Houston for sure. All meals are well prepared and taste delicious. Breakfast is the best I've had from any other dfac I've been to.
This has been my favorite dining facility ever since I was a young private. There are many things that make Rocco DFAC stand out from the rest. For one you can eat as much as you want and come back for seconds. Want to get two red entrees? Heck go get three if you want. Want some variety? Well take a stroll down the ethnic section after downing your grilled cheese and ham sandwich. And make sure to save room for dessert because they got all the cakes, cookies, pies, and ice cream you could ever want. If you have a PT test coming up or failing to meet body weight standards according to AR 600-9 then there is a healthy entrees section and a fresh salad bar to fill up on and get you looking good again. Rocco DFAC. Named after one of the baddest Medal of Honor recipients of the Vietnam War, and it definitely lives up to the name.
Wow, this is the best dining facility that the Army has to offer. The workers are enthusiastic and really try to brighten up your day. The facility is clean and modern and offer ample amount of space whether it's just you and a friend or a big group. The food itself is absolutely delicious and makes me drooling for more. I'd give this place a 5/5 every time!
